About the opportunity: The Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) is in an exciting growth phase. The Executive Assistant / Education Team Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Executive Director – Education, ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of departmental operations. This dynamic role includes: Supporting leadership – providing executive support to the Executive Director, managing complex schedules, and keeping things running smoothly Team culture & events – coordinating department activities, events, and workshops that bring the team together and build connection New ways of working – helping to streamline processes, improve systems, and introduce smarter ways of collaborating across the team Small projects – leading and supporting a variety of projects that enhance how we work and deliver impact for trainees, Fellows, and committees Committee support – ensuring our high-level governance committees run seamlessly, with opportunities to engage directly with Chairs, senior leaders, Education team members and Committee Support Officers across the organisation. About the team: The Education Function at ANZCA is responsible for the implementation of curricula across anaesthesia, pain medicine, diving and hyperbaric medicine, and perioperative medicine. This includes the design and delivery of training and professional development programs, with a commitment to the highest quality standards. Specifically, you will have: Essential: Proven experience in an administrative role, particularly within professional or academic environments, including: High-level executive support. Committee support and governance processes. Event and meeting coordination.
