About the role Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimise downtime Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures, and implement effective solutions Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals to assist in repairs and maintenance Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inspections Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment About you Australian recognised trade certificate (Certificate III) Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and basic electrical systems Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Be physically fit for manual labouring tasks including bending, crouching, and squatting Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to commit to 10 hour shifts Monday to Friday and open to ongoing overtime due to unforeseen machinery breakdowns On offer $50.00 per hour full penalties on all overtime based off award Opportunities for professional and trade development A supportive and inclusive work environment Regular overtime and penalties to reward you for this Onsite parking Candidates must live local to the area and ensure availability to interview and supply references.
