A well-regarded commercial builder with a strong reputation across Queensland is currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Site Manager to lead upcoming construction projects valued up to $20 million. The company specialises in delivering high-quality mixed-use retail, community facility, and retirement living developments and offers a supportive, structured environment with a solid project pipeline. Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities across assigned projects, ensuring delivery within budget, on time, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires a strong communicator and leader with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and clients. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budget Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain progress and quality Promote and enforce a strong safety culture through regular site meetings and compliance with OH&S standards Coordinate site logistics, materials, and resourcing effectively Interpret and execute construction drawings, plans, and specifications Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and progress updates using Procore Liaise with the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure adherence to company policies Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager on commercial projects up to $20M Background in delivering retail, community, or retirement village projects Proficient in Procore construction management software (essential) Trade qualification or building-related tertiary certification preferred Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, and relevant Australian building codes Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manage construction programs effectively Salary & Benefits Competitive total salary of $160,000-$200,000 Super, based on experience Long-term role within a stable company with a strong project pipeline Supportive senior management and access to modern construction systems and tools Exposure to a range of rewarding and community-focused developments Opportunities for career growth and ongoing training
