The role At Knight Frank, we are seeking a Director, Head of Facilities Management – QLD to lead our Facilities Management function within the Queensland Asset Management Services (AMS) division. Reporting to the Partner, Head of AMS QLD, this senior leadership role will drive the strategic and operational direction of Facilities Management, providing vision, leadership, and oversight to a high-performing team while ensuring best practice service delivery, sustainability, and innovative solutions for clients and stakeholders. Key responsibilities Lead and manage the QLD Facilities Management team, providing mentorship, succession planning, and professional development. Drive operational excellence by implementing best practice strategies, ensuring risk management, compliance, and governance standards are met. Partner with the Head of AMS QLD on business development opportunities, contributing to growth and client retention. Provide sustainability thought leadership across the portfolio, ensuring assets meet NABERS, Green Star, GRESB, and WELL Building Standards. Direct the preparation and management of FM budgets, forecasts, and reporting, with accountability for financial outcomes and sundry revenue growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, delivering a united service experience. Champion innovation, including the integration of technology and AI in facilities management practices. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Property, Construction, Project Management, or equivalent. 7 years’ senior leadership experience in Facilities Management, Development Management, or Project Management. Deep knowledge of building operations, compliance standards, and sustainable asset management practices. Proven success in leading and motivating teams, with strong financial acumen and business insight. Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships, negotiate effectively, and deliver on strategic objectives.
