About the Opportunity This role offers the chance to design and deliver impactful programs that directly influence capability, performance, and culture of the organisation. You’ll collaborate across diverse teams, ensuring your contributions are both visible and varied. Your duties will include: Develop and implement learning strategies, frameworks, and a training calendar aligned with South Bank Corporation’s goals; Collaborate with leaders and staff to identify skills gaps and design relevant development initiatives; Organise workshops, seminars, and training sessions, handling logistics, materials, communications, and participant engagement; Manage compliance and mandatory training programs, ensuring adherence to legislative, public sector, and best-practice obligations; Assess training outcomes, gather feedback, measure return on investment, and make improvements; Liaise with external providers and stakeholders, maintaining a sharp focus on budget management and supplier contracts; and Contribute to building, maintaining, and growing a culture of continuous learning within South Bank Corporation. About you You will be an engaging individual who is highly experienced and passionate about driving professional development within an organisation. To succeed in this role, you will have: 3 - 5 years in a comparable L&D or training role, ideally with exposure to public sector or similar regulated environments; Strong understanding of contemporary learning & development practices, adult learning principles, delivery methods, and evaluation frameworks; Excellent organisational skills - you can juggle multiple training programs, stakeholders, suppliers, budgets, and timelines; Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; you can build relationships at all levels; Ability to track and report on training outcomes, maintain records, manage compliance matters; and Qualifications such as an HR, L&D, Education, or related degree / diploma / Cert IV are desirable.
