Description of the role: We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our IT team. Reporting to the Group PMO and working closely with the Executive team, a Project Manager is needed to help plan and deliver a program of works that includes IT, Finance and Process Improvement and business innovation projects across a broad range of technologies and processes. What makes you ‘just right’: 5–10 years proven experience managing IT and business transformation projects. Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid). Experience using JIRA or similar project tracking tools. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively. Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party contractors to deliver results. Experience in professional services or mid-sized organisations is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work within or support a Project Management Office (PMO) function. Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making abilities. Commitment to continuous improvement and aligning with organisational values and culture. What your day might look like: Lead end-to-end project delivery across various methodologies (Agile/Scrum and Waterfall), ensuring alignment with business objectives. Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior leadership. Manage project resources, budgets, and schedules, including coordination with internal teams and third-party vendors. Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and milestones, ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Drive continuous improvement through post-project reviews, knowledge sharing, and development of best practices. Support PMO activities including project prioritisation, resource planning, and portfolio risk management. Foster a collaborative team environment through mentoring, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building.
