ConsultANZ is looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure works across Sydney. About the Role: Join a well-established contractor with a strong project pipeline Take the lead in financial oversight and commercial management of infrastructure projects Collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure cost efficiency and contract compliance Key Responsibilities: Manage cost planning, forecasting, and financial reporting for active projects Administer contracts and ensure compliance with procurement protocols Identify and assess variations, claims, EOTs, and change orders Prepare detailed cost reports, valuations, and commercial updates Coordinate supplier procurement, purchase orders, and contract documentation Liaise with key stakeholders to uphold contractual obligations and project objectives Support the project team with commercial insight and strategic input Take on ad-hoc responsibilities as needed to support project outcomes What We’re Looking For: Minimum 4 years' experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or a related industry Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Commercial Management Exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and reporting Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement Confident working independently while also contributing to a broader team environment Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Prior leadership experience is a plus Flexibility to travel interstate on occasion What’s on Offer: Salary package: $150K–$200K (negotiable depending on experience) Work alongside a collaborative and experienced commercial team Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities Involvement in landmark civil projects that shape Sydney’s infrastructure APPLY NOW if interested or email marnel.labarosa@consultanz.com.au to hear more about this opportunity.
