We’re seeking a National WHS Advisor to join our Group Support Services team, based at Head Office in Eagle Farm. This is an advisory and coordination role, working closely with safety professionals and operational leaders to support the rollout of national safety strategies and initiatives. You'll play a key role in ensuring consistency in WHS practices, improving systems and documentation, and driving behavioural change across the business. While the strategic direction is set by senior leadership, your input will help shape how safety is communicated, understood, and applied at all levels. You’ll mostly operate from head office, but some site travel will be required to build relationships and provide support where it matters most. The Role Provide leadership, technical guidance, and strategic direction in all areas of Workplace Health and Safety across the G. James Group. Enforce G. James WHS policies and procedures across all sites Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and RTW programs Audit hazard registers and maintain site risk assessments Coach and support site teams via safety professionals Deliver national WHS metrics, dashboards, and reports to senior leadership Support RTW plans with Injury Management Coordinator and insurers Ensure accurate WHS system use, data integrity, and recordkeeping Monitor legislative changes and site compliance nationally Assist in external audits and governance reviews Maintain up-to‑date WHS registers, documentation, and programmes About You Tertiary qualification and/or Certificate or Diploma in WHS or OHS highly desirable 5 years in a WHS role, preferably in labour-intensive environments desirable Strategic thinker with the capacity to analyse and report WHS trends and metrics Deep knowledge of WHS legislation, systems, and risk management frameworks Excellent communicator, capable of managing challenging situations with diplomacy and clarity What We Offer Competitive salary package aligned with your experience Full-time permanent role, immediate start Benefits: 7% discounted Bupa cover Employee Assistance Program (TELUS Health) Free onsite parking and a positive safety-first culture Career growth across the G.James Group Stability and excellent employment conditions with an Australian family-owned manufacturer committed to local production How to Apply Ready to make an impact?
