Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 Super Benefits Location: Sydney NSW Job Type: Full-Time Position: Foreman Leading Hands About the Company: Our client is a large and well-established concrete contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality FRP (Formwork, Reinforcement, Pour) projects and specialising in heavy refurbishment works across commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors. Known for their commitment to safety, precision, and quality, they’ve built long-standing relationships with leading builders and developers. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we’re seeking experienced Concrete Leading Hands and Foremen to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily operations of concreting and formwork teams on-site. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications. Lead and mentor a team of concreters and formworkers, fostering a culture of safety and quality. Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor and manage the use of materials and equipment. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the concreting and formwork processes. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman in concreting and formwork. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of concreting techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications. Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
