SLR has an exciting opportunity for a Senior ESD Consultant with extensive Green Star expertise to join our CFD, Wind & Energy team. In this team we provide a comprehensive range of services including ESD Master Planning (Residential, Commercial and Industrial Projects), ESD Town Planning Submissions, Energy Efficiency Reporting, Energy, and Daylight and Advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Services, NABERS Reporting and Green Star Project delivery. The role will require a high level of commitment to our clients, technical leadership within the discipline and an ability to leverage your own experience and skills of other team members to deliver industry leading projects across the Built Environment both locally and across the Asia Pacific region. You will work comfortably and seamlessly alongside other senior team leaders, mentor and supervise junior staff and be involved in high level business development and delivery of key projects for our clients. Job tasks and responsibilities: You will be responsible for: Provide ESD solutions in a client facing capacity Conduct life-cycle analysis, energy, thermal, daylight and carbon modelling Produce Green Star and NABERS rating buildings Conduct BCA Section J Assessment Mentor junior consultants Skills and experience: 5 years of consulting experience Qualification in Engineering or relevant science based education Demonstrated skills and expertise in Sustainability, Green Star, NABERS and Energy Rating assessments Strong personal professional brand in the sustainability sector and actively involved in the professional network Experience in sustainable building design with infrastructure/mining being beneficial Sound knowledge of Australian Building Codes and standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines Proven ability to do strategic business development Our Benefits We are proud of our unique culture where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
