Job Description Partner – Enterprise CX & Digital Consulting Sales | Sydney or Melbourne | Strong OTE and Shares This is a rare opportunity to take a lead commercial role within a fast-scaling, AI-native digital consultancy focused on customer experience and enterprise transformation. The business has successfully evolved from a resourcing model to a CX transformation partner for a host of enterprise Australian brands ($500M–$1.5B revenues) and is now looking for a proven CX consulting rainmaker; someone who can drive multi-million dollar multi-capability deals and coach others to do the same. This role is perfect for you if you are a strategic sales leader who thrives in high-accountability environments. You’ve closed big deals, scaled teams, and know how to turn vision into action. You want to shape the GTM engine of a challenger consultancy and lead meaningful, multi-capability work not just sell licenses. The Outcomes You’ll Own (12–24 Months Revenue: Close net-new CX transformation projects, averaging between $250K-$500K per deal size Pull-through: Generate follow-on build revenue across data, platforms and engineering Capability: Hire/coach at least 2 senior sellers; uplift CX and enterprise sales skills across the team Presence: Help position the consultancy as a credible challenger to the big four by driving thought leadership, securing speaking slots, and increasing inbound pipeline What You’ll Be Doing Sales leadership – Lead by example in originating and closing deals; craft pursuit strategies; own strategic accounts; negotiate commercial terms that drive margin CX strategy & delivery – Act as executive sponsor on major engagements; shape customer visioning, journey re-design, AI-enabled insight programs Go-to-market strategy – Build the revenue engine (marketing → qualification → proposal → delivery); implement disciplined CRM and bid governance Team building – Recruit and mentor Partners/Principals; instil a seller-doer culture Commercial operations – Forecast accurately, price deals smartly, drive utilisation, and continuously improve margin Client advocacy – Build trusted relationships at C-suite; ensure value delivery that drives long-term revenue What You Bring Must-have experience: 10 years in consulting or digital services, including 5 years at Director/Partner level $10M in lifetime CX-led transformation sales, with personal accountability for $500K - $1M deals Proven success scaling a consultancy or new brand in Australia — not relying on big-name logos Deep delivery understanding of CX strategy (journey mapping, blueprinting, CX operating models) Familiarity with AI-enabled VoC/VoE platforms (e.g. Qualtrics, Medallia) Track record of hiring, mentoring, and driving commercial outcomes from senior teams C-suite networks in BFSI, energy, retail, or related sectors Mindset & Skills: Strategic EQ and commercial hunter instinct; you balances urgency with long-term relationships “T-shaped” leadership: CX strategy depth, broad understanding of platforms, data and engineering Comfortable selling and steering delivery across enterprise-scale engagements Hands-on, low-ego operator who can build systems and lead from the front Advocates for diversity, experimentation, and measurable client impact If interested in this role, company and opportunity please apply below or reach out to Sean on 0407032548 / sean@theonset.com.au
