About the Role As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial results through accurate reporting, reconciliations, and analysis. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you will gain exposure to statutory and management reporting, cash flow forecasting, and compliance requirements of an ASX-listed environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the completion of month-end and year-end financial close activities, ensuring deadlines are met. Deliver technical accounting guidance and support to management, particularly in relation to financial reporting and analysis. Prepare accurate, high-quality financial reports and present key insights to stakeholders. Contribute to the development of accounting standards, policies, and forecasting processes. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all significant balances are supported with appropriate documentation. Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow statements, highlighting variances and trends. Compile the monthly performance reporting pack for presentation to Management, the Audit & Compliance Committee, and the Board. Strengthen internal financial controls by designing, implementing, and recommending improvements to accounting policies and procedures.
