HSE Manager - Cairns Permanent | $140-$160k Super We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental functions for a growing commercial construction business based in Cairns. This is a permanent, site-based role-no FIFO. What you will do: Lead the HSE function and provide guidance to leadership and project teams. Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and systems. Ensure compliance with Queensland HSE legislation and company standards. Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and investigations. Monitor HSE performance and implement improvement initiatives. Deliver HSE training and foster a positive safety culture across the business. Support incident management and reporting processes. What we're looking for: 5 years' experience in HSE management, ideally in commercial construction. Tertiary qualification in HSE, Engineering, or related field; Cert IV WHS minimum. Strong knowledge of Queensland HSE legislation and industry standards. Proven ability to implement HSE systems and drive cultural change.
