We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is key to ensuring production targets are met, teams are supported, and continuous improvement opportunities are realised. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily site operations, ensuring production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and within budget. Manage and optimise inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in partnership with Procurement and Warehouse teams. Plan workforce requirements and coordinate staffing levels to meet operational demands, including overtime and maintenance scheduling. Drive operational improvements through the application of lean principles, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Lead, mentor, and develop staff at all levels, building a high-performing, collaborative, and engaged team. Ensure strict compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively. Skills & Experience Proven leadership experience in an operations or production management role within manufacturing (FMCG or related industries preferred). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to implement practical solutions. Solid understanding of production processes, supply chain, and workforce planning. Exceptional communication skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
