The Team We are seeking a passionate Legal Administration Assistant on a permanent basis in our Perth CBD office, Monday - Friday between hours of 8:15am - 5:00pm. The role involves proactively providing administrative support to support all legal teams including mail, eCourt filing, outside clerk responsibilities, reception coverage, kitchen maintenance, office stationery maintenance, as well as ad hoc assistance to the administration assistant/paralegal team. The Role Providing high quality, compassionate service to our clients. Assist with managing our front desk reception. Communicating verbally and in writing with medical providers, insurers and other third parties in a professional and confident manner. Preparing documents and correspondence efficiently and with impeccable attention to detail. Preparing schedules of out-of-pocket expenses and travel expenses. Scanning and saving of documents as needed. Arranging couriers. Outside deliveries. eCourt filing of legal documents. Outside clerk responsibilities, including delivering court documents. General office duties as required, i.e. ordering and managing stationery/stock. Demonstrating a commitment to upholding the firm's core values and behavioural standards. Actively contributing to building a positive external profile and brand for the firm as well as strong relationships with the firm’s staff, creating a positive and progressive working environment. The Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in a similar role in professional services businesses (e.g. accounting, law, engineering, etc.) will make your application competitive. Strong computer literacy including the ability to learn new systems and platforms. High level of organisation, time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines. The ability to work 38 hours per week, between the hours of 8:15am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team. Ability to work autonomously as well as follow processes and direction from supervisors.
