The General Manager for Camping will drive the continued growth and operational excellence of Darche. With full P&L accountability, you will lead a multi-channel, customer-centric business spanning retail, wholesale, e-commerce, and consumer shows. This is a strategic but hands-on leadership role for an experienced executive who can align vision with execution while inspiring cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic planning and execution in line with group goals. Grow domestic retail, e-commerce, and export markets (USA, NZ). Strengthen key customer relationships and lead major account engagements. Oversee product development, ensuring a balance of heritage and new product innovation. Drive operational excellence across warehousing, inventory, finance, HR, IT, and supply chain. Manage budgets, forecasts, working capital, and margin pressures. Build a high-performance culture and champion continuous improvement. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Extensive senior leadership experience in branded consumer goods. Strong commercial, financial, and operational acumen with proven P&L responsibility. Track record in multi-channel growth: retail, e-commerce, and wholesale. Demonstrated success in building and managing key accounts. Experience in product development and brand management. Skilled in leading change and developing high-performing teams. Hands-on, pragmatic leadership style with strong communication and presentation skills. Desirable: Knowledge of the camping/outdoor industry, as well as familiarity with ERP and e-commerce systems.
