About our client We are currently partnering with a NSW Local Government team that is delivering a major digital transformation program. This initiative is focused on building modern, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions that improve service delivery and outcomes for the community. Role Purpose This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact reform program while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. As the Technical Delivery Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end technical delivery of enterprise applications. This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely alongside a Project Manager, where you will review code, test cases, deployments, and play a key role in architecture and solution design. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end technical delivery across enterprise digital programs. Oversee architecture, solution design, release management, and data migration. Collaborate with the Project Manager on scheduling, resourcing, and risk management. Allocate technical work and provide leadership to technical teams. Review and ensure quality across test cases, code, and deployments. Manage IT vendors, partners, and contractors to ensure delivery standards. Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and development environments. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience 10 years of .NET development experience. 2 years in a Technical Delivery Manager, Engineering Manager, or similar role. Proven experience designing and delivering solutions across complex enterprise IT landscapes (on-premise and hybrid cloud). Strong background in technical project management, governance, and risk management. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional technical teams. Experience managing vendors, contractors, and development environments. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Desirable Skills Exposure to Sitecore, BizTalk, or Dynamics CRM.
