We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to support site reliability across rotating day and night shifts . This is a casual position with a pathway to full-time employment after 6 months for the right person. What's on Offer: Rotating roster: 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights 30% loading on night shifts Stable 5-day schedule with 8-hour shifts Opportunity to transition from casual to permanent Join a skilled and collaborative maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment Your Responsibilities: Perform breakdown repairs and planned preventative maintenance Ensure safe and efficient operations across a range of manufacturing equipment Identify and implement plant improvements and reliability solutions Install and test machine enhancements in line with product specifications Support production targets by minimising downtime Accurately record work using CMMS What We're Looking For: Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential) At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and breakdown repair skills Exposure to PLCs and variable speed drives A safety-first mindset with strong communication skills Basic computer proficiency (MS Office & CMMS systems) Current Driver's Licence and HRW Forklift Licence
