About the role As our Procurement & Contract Management Specialist you’ll lead high-risk and strategically important goods and services contracts across our Community division and contribute your expertise to support other divisional contract management and procurement activity. This role is pivotal in ensuring contract compliance, financial oversight, and capability building across the division. You’ll work closely with our Procurement team and Enterprise Contract Management function to embed best practice processes and systems that support strong commercial outcomes. About the Team T he Community division at the TAC is dedicated to engaging, educating, and influencing the Victorian community, stakeholders and our people. Our goal is to foster a safety-first road culture, build trust, and deliver the best outcomes for our clients. You’ll join the Marketing, Sponsorship & Engagement branch, reporting to the Senior Manager. This is a team that engages heavily with external community organisations, agencies and other partners. Note: this is a new role that may in the future eventually transition to the Community Division’s Business Assurance team - who play a critical role in strengthening governance, risk and financial management, and operational excellence. What we’re looking for Contract Management Experience You bring proven experience managing complex or high-risk goods and services contracts, ideally within government or regulated environments. You understand supplier performance, risk mitigation, and compliance inside out, and have experience working in a dynamic procurement contract management role. Procurement Experience You have strong knowledge of public sector procurement requirements and supplier panel arrangements, including (as key examples) the Victorian Government Procurement Guidelines and Marketing Services Register. Financial and Systems Acumen You’re confident with financial tracking tools and systems like Dynamics 365. You know how to build procedures and process workflows that enhance accountability and data accuracy.
