About the Role Unitywater is entering an exciting phase of growth, underpinned by major infrastructure investments to support sustainable development across our region. We’re looking for an experienced and driven Development Project Coordinator to join our Development Services (DS) Branch and help shape the future of water and sewer infrastructure delivery. The Development Services Branch plays a critical role in connecting new developments to Unitywater’s water and sewer networks. This includes assessing development applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, facilitating connections, and guiding developers through the often complex approval processes, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and service quality. As a Development Project Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering major development projects across our rapidly growing region, including within key Priority Development Areas (PDAs). You will coordinate with developers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure critical infrastructure is delivered on time, to standard, and in alignment with Water Infrastructure Agreements (WIAs). Your role will be central to tracking project milestones, identifying and managing risks, and supporting proactive planning and resource allocation. Through strategic oversight and strong stakeholder collaboration, you’ll help Unitywater deliver vital infrastructure to enable housing supply and sustainable regional growth. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role that requires a mix of technical insight, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Mango Hill Head Office. Proven coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects, track key deliverables and adapt to shifting priorities. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to provide clear written and verbal advice to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to identify risks early and implement process improvements that support efficient project delivery. Commitment to customer service excellence, with a professional approach and a strong focus on delivering timely and accurate information. Understanding of WH&S principles, with a demonstrated ability to support and model safe working practices.
