ConsultANZ is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator to join our client’s project in Perth. You will support live civil projects by assisting project managers with contract administration, payment claims, and variations, while gaining valuable experience in cost control and commercial management. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in preparing cost estimates, managing project budgets, and tracking expenditures under supervision. Support the review of tender documents and assist in assessing bids and managing contracts. Help track costs and monitor projects to ensure they stay within budget. Assist in sourcing materials and subcontractors to support timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Participate in site visits to monitor progress and verify cost accuracy. Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for review by senior team members. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to contribute to achieving project goals. REQUIREMENTS: Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. 3 years of experience in quantity surveying or related roles; internships or project experience are a plus. Exposure or interest in civil engineering projects such as roads, drainage, earthworks, or mining is preferred but not essential. Basic proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Excel). Good communication skills and strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction environment. Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites as required.
