APS5/6 Audio Visual Production Officer – 6 Month Non-Ongoing Contract or S26 Transfer Opportunity Use your creative and technical AV skills to deliver high-quality video, photography, and animation in a fast-paced federal government environment. We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Audio Visual Production Officer to support the delivery of engaging visual content across a range of platforms. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to produce high-quality AV products that support departmental priorities and public engagement. This is a 6-month non-ongoing contract based in Canberra, with flexible hybrid work arrangements available. A Section 26 transfer will also be considered. You’ll be joining a collaborative communications team with supportive leadership and a strong focus on delivering impactful content. This role is open at the APS5 or APS6 level, depending on your experience. Candidates at the APS5 level looking to step up are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Lead filming and multi-camera production of events and presentations Edit and produce polished video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve Provide strategic AV advice and manage end-to-end AV projects Coordinate AV setups for events, ensuring seamless technical delivery Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope and deliver tailored AV solutions Develop and maintain AV documentation, standards, and procedures Mentor junior AV staff and contribute to continuous improvement Evaluate AV service performance and identify opportunities for enhancement Skills & Experience: Strong technical expertise in AV systems, camera operation, and editing software Demonstrated experience in AV production, in a government or corporate setting Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure Leadership and project management experience (APS6 level) Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance How to Apply: To apply, click Apply Now , or for a confidential discussion, please contact: sarah.barrynguyen@hudson.com 0437 078 305 during business hours.
