About your role As a Mental Health Clinician, you will deliver intake services, mental health interventions, and discipline-specific care within a multidisciplinary Child and Youth Mental Health Service team. You'll be part of a supportive, professional environment focused on patient-centred care and continuous service improvement. In this role you will: Conduct detailed clinical assessments, risk assessments, and triaging of referrals Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and case management Provide patient and carer education, discharge planning, and follow-up Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for clients Contribute to service quality initiatives, research, and professional development Support and supervise students and junior staff where required About you We are looking for a compassionate and skilled clinician who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting and is committed to improving mental health outcomes for children, young people, and their families. You will have: Tertiary qualification and current registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker Experience providing mental health assessment and interventions in a clinical setting Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, carers, and team members Sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and commitment to continuous learning Ability to manage a varied caseload with effective time management Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and Class C Driver's Licence What we can offer you: We offer a family-friendly work environment that supports you in making the most of Queensland's laid-back lifestyle.
