About your role As the Sonographer - Advanced Team Leader, you will provide advanced clinical services, professional governance, and operational leadership for the ultrasound service at Redland Hospital. In this role you will: Deliver advanced ultrasound clinical services and lead complex case management Provide mentorship, supervision, and professional development to sonographers Manage workforce planning, rostering, recruitment, and performance processes Lead service planning, quality improvement, and research initiatives Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and specialist modalities to optimise service delivery About you We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader with a passion for advancing ultrasound services, mentoring others, and delivering safe, patient-centred care. You will have: Relevant postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivelant and ASAR accreditation Minimum five (5) years' post-graduation clinical ultrasound experience Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and oversee rostering/workload allocation Advanced clinical expertise and ability to handle complex cases independently High-level communication, negotiation, and change management skills Demonstrated experience in service development, research, and quality improvement What we can offer you: We are renowned for teaching and research excellence with strong relations with Queensland's leading tertiary institutions.
