About your new role The Plant Hire Team are responsible for planning the efficient and effective operational allocation of a broad range of vehicles, plant and related equipment to deliver maximum utilisation of City resources in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. They provide exceptional customer service to support areas of the organisation tasked with delivery of City services to ratepayers. Duties and Responsibilities include: Facilitating hire of short term and ad-hoc internal and external vehicles, plant and associated equipment Consistent achievement of performance targets and key performance indicators Ensuring all SAP work orders and shopping carts are entered and processed in line with the City’s policies Liaising with key stakeholders in ensuring assets are efficiently managed to ensure minimal disruption to operations through effective planning We're looking for people who have: Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations or equivalent knowledge Drivers Licence Class C Unrestricted (Mandatory) Construction White Card - Desired Sound knowledge of heavy vehicles, plant and associated equipment and plant hire processes Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP or equivalent ERP Proven commitment to a high level of all Workplace Health and Safety matters Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal staff and contractors Excellent organisational skills and work with the team to implement work strategies to serve the City Be part of shaping the Gold Coast's future The Gold Coast is inspired by lifestyle and driven by opportunity.
