The Role: As a Construction Service Officer, you’ll play a vital role in providing administrative and operational support to facilitate split and single contract construction projects. You will be responsible for coordinating with builders, property managers, and investors, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and manage task progress, allocations, and processes across multiple construction projects. • Facilitate clear and consistent communication between investors, contractors, and relevant stakeholders. • Address client concerns promptly to maintain positive relationships and ensure satisfaction. • Oversee property management arrangements post-completion and source suitable alternatives for clients. • Manage risk by coordinating insurance and verifying compliance at practical completion. • Organise defects inspections with licensed third-party inspectors. • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries pre- and post-construction. • Initiate prompt communication with clients immediately after settlement confirmation. What We’re Looking For • 2–3 years’ experience in construction administration, property management, or a related field (preferred). • Knowledge of building codes and compliance requirements. • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications (basic level). • Certifications or coursework in compliance or administration (advantageous). • Proficiency in relevant software/tools for construction and compliance (desirable).
