This includes contributing to Academy Programs and managing designated clinical education portfolios. Purpose of the Position Lead and support the Eastern Education Team to enhance patient care by maintaining and developing workforce capability through the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based education programs. Foster a strong learning culture grounded in continuous quality improvement and best practice. Collaborate with Directors of Clinical Services (DCS), Associate Directors of Clinical Services (ADCS), and Nurse Managers (NMs) to identify learning needs and oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of targeted educational initiatives, including specialised programs. Position Description Inherent Requirements Qualifications To be successful in this role You will be a collaborative and experienced nursing professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for education. Your ability to build relationships, lead teams, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based learning programs will support the ongoing development of the workforce. A commitment to the One-Epworth approach and continuous improvement is essential. You will have: AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse A minimum of 5 years’ experience within an education role Postgraduate qualification Excellent organisational and communication skills Proven team building and leadership ability Success in development and implementing programs based on adult learning principles Success in managing and evaluating educational programs or services Ability to impart knowledge and be receptive to new ideas and practices Ability to develop and motivate individuals and teams through coaching and positive role modelling Consultative and respectful leadership skills and a proven ability to negotiate and influence Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver agreed outcomes as per set timeframes Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of people Additional Information At Epworth, it’s a community It’s the sense of belonging and being part of an organisation and a team that works to make sure that every patient matters.
