Australian Choice Exports Pty Ltd (ACE) is looking for Supply/Distribution Manager - International Markets to join their team based in QLD. Role Purpose: Supply/Distribution Manager - International Markets will directly report to the CEO The Supply/Distribution Manager - International Markets will source, purchase and sell pulses, coffee and grain from South America for international customers, predominantly located in South-East Asia. The successful applicant will also sell coffee products into the Australian domestic market and develop new and existing pulse, grain and coffee customers to ensure growth targets are met. Key Responsibilities: 1) Overall need to: a) Strategic Procurement and inventory management b) Operational Planning and Cost Control c) Maintain Strong supplier relationship and contract management d) Data and transaction tracking 2) Regularly visit and provide service to current and potential ACE international and domestic customers to maximise sales opportunities a) Assess and provide solutions to customer needs and issues b) Travel to and visit international customers as required 3) Regularly visit and provide service to current and potential ACE suppliers in South America to maximise procurement opportunities 4) Maintain a network and use market intelligence to develop new customer prospects 5) Acquire and maintain an intimate knowledge of grains, pulses and coffee across the entire South American supply chain 6) Acquire and maintain an intimate knowledge of ACE and competitors’ product and markets 7) Monitor and report to ACE management on customer issues and competitor activity 8) Negotiate and Quote terms and pricing to existing and new customers 9) Liaise with logistics management and staff to ensure Delivery in Full and on Time 10) Follow up with customers to ensure ACE supply promise has been kept and take action to rectify any issues 11) Source and procure grain, pulse and coffee product from South American growers and suppliers a) Travel to and visit South American growers and suppliers as required 12) Prepare and submit sales and procurement reports as required Qualifications and Experience Required: • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the selling of pulse, grain and coffee • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the sourcing and procurement of pulses, grain and coffee from the South American region. • Intimate knowledge of international pulse, grain and coffee markets with a specialisation in South America, South East Asia and Australia • Intimate knowledge of production, quality and procurement of pulse, grain and coffee from South American producers • Practical knowledge and understanding of shipping/logistics out of South America • Established network of customers with a focus on South East Asia Salary range from $80,000 to $90,000 per annum Position: Full Time Location: KENMORE HILLS, QLD - 4069 Please Note: We would like to take this opportunity to thank all applicants for their interest.
