About the role: Join one of WA’s most recognisable organisations, on a permanent, full-time basis, as an experienced Mine Controller / Builder for Autonomous Haulage Systems. This position will be based out of their Integrated Remote Operations Centre near the Perth Airport, but will move to West Perth within the next 6-12 months when their HQ relocates closer to the CBD. Roster: 7 on : 7 off - 12 hour shifts 3 days, 4 nights, 7 off for 3 months, then 4 days, 3 nights, 7 off for 3 months What you’ll be doing each shift: Monitor and control the autonomous fleet and manage access of authorised personnel and vehicles within the autonomous operating zone Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of mining activities Monitor haul cycles and use control systems and dashboards to optimise production processes and minimise downtime Respond promptly to any operational issues, providing solutions and support to the team Maintain accurate records of all mining activities and report on performance metrics Ensure adherence to integrated remote operations policies and procedures Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency What you’ll need to be successful in this role: Full Australian working rights Previous experience operating and controlling an Autonomous Haulage System – Cat MineStar Command or Komatsu FrontRunner experience required Strong influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to make strong stakeholder relationships Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure to meet deadlines Strong understanding of mine site safety and operational procedures Proficiency in using computers and software What’s in it for you: Free on-site parking Modern spacious office with break-out facilities In-house café providing variety of hot & cold food options and barista coffee Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family Multiple annual bonuses on offer – performance based, shareholder options etc. How to Apply?
