Based in Braeside, you’ll become part of a well-established pump and tank assembly company that takes pride in quality, teamwork, and a supportive, family-oriented culture. You’ll be working alongside skilled technicians and engineers who value collaboration and precision. This role would suit someone with practical mechanical experience – whether you’re a home handyman, a backyard mechanic, or even an aspiring engineer ready to take on a key responsibility within the business. In this stand-alone yet vital position, you’ll be trusted to deliver accurate, on-time work while ensuring every assembly meets our high standards. What we’re looking for: Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence with tools Ability to read and follow assembly instructions accurately Attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliability and respect for deadlines and workflow A team player with a positive, can-do attitude About the Role: Assembling tanks and related components. Follow plans to cut pipes to length and fit into tank and pump. Using air and power tools. Must have experience with circular and reciprocating saws, or similar. Confidence to use mobile gantry crane to position tanks Following instructions and working safely, while ensuring timely completion of tasks Manual handling of items up to 20kg General workshop duties What We’re Looking For: Forklift license & experience Two verifiable reference checks with a solid work history Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing Comfortable using air and power tools, particularly saws Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg Able to pass a pre-employment medical Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport If you’re interested and meet the above requirements, apply now and we’ll reach out.
