As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our expanding team. Role This role involves working on a wide range of fabrication projects, from reading and interpreting blueprints to cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components. You will use a variety of tools and welding techniques to produce precise and durable products while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship. Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Measure and mark out the size, shape, and location of cutouts and joints on metal stock. Cut, bend, and assemble metal components using fabrication tools and machines (e.g., shears, brakes, grinders, welding equipment). Join metal sections by welding (MIG/TIG/Stick), bolting, or riveting. Examine welds for accuracy, penetration, and finish, performing necessary repairs or reworks. Clean and smooth welds using filing, chiselling, and grinding techniques. Program and/or operate computer-aided fabrication tools to optimise efficiency. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality compliance. Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment in line with WHS practices. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time. Skills & Experience Required Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Metal Fabricator. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and tools. Proficiency in MIG/TIG/Stick welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. High attention to detail with a focus on quality. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Requirements Relevant trade qualifications (preferred). Current Australian Driver’s Licence. White Card. Full working rights in Australia. Pay $80,000 p.a. Super
