Company : Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd About the Role Hastings Deering is currently recruiting for a Facilities Compliance Specialist to be based in our Brisbane Head Office in Archerfield . This is a permanent, full-time role. The compliance Specialist role primarily exists to support, guide, and provide assurance for facilities related functions including contractual agreements and partnerships with vendors. Ensuring laws, regulations, codes of practice, agreements and standards are met. With an exciting project pipeline of major facility upgrades, and procurement initiatives this is an excellent opportunity for you to make a real impact in shaping the future of the facilities and operations of a large global organisation. The key responsibilities of this role will include: Assist with development and implementation of a compliance program and strategy that achieves optimum workplace performance, integrating people, site facilities and equipment, processes and technology whilst operating within the safety and asset & plant parameters including refurbishments or construction projects. Provide SME support and partner with cross-functional teams on contractual obligations to ensure compliance. Maintain the integrity of electronic records and ensure compliance with site legal and other obligations. Follow contractor management procedures and supervise contractors to minimise operational impacts. Manage workflow through the Facilities Database and prioritise work through scheduling maintenance. About You You may bring the following skills and experience to the role: Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, equipment assembly, construction or industrial environment. Evidence of experience with industrial safe work procedures and practices and or workplace health and safety Knowledge and experience in facilities management process and compliance requirements and vendor management. Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team environment. This role will work closely with the wider facilities maintenance and construction teams.
