About the Opportunity Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be the main technical point of contact for the entire project team. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, on time, and within budget. This role will see you take a hands-on approach, stepping in to lead the project during the Project Manager's absence. You'll be based in the Dry Creek office but will also have the opportunity to work on-site across both Adelaide metro and regional SA project areas, contributing to projects that are vital to the state's infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Support: Provide expert guidance to engineering and site teams, serving as the primary technical point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers. Project & Financial Oversight: Assist with managing all project aspects, including tracking budgets, preparing project programs, and reviewing key submissions like progress claims and variations. Procurement & Contracts: Support the Project Manager with all procurement activities and the preparation of subcontract agreements. Risk & Quality Management: Lead the site engineering team in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring all project quality requirements are met. Documentation & Reporting: Interpret project plans and specifications to create essential technical documentation, RFIs, and project reports. What You Will Bring To excel in this role, you will possess: A minimum of 5-8 years of engineering experience in major construction/infrastructure project delivery, preferably in the Civil Engineering space. A recognised degree in an engineering discipline or another relevant tertiary qualification. Strong experience in contract administration and management, including dealing with complex variations. Proven ability to manage construction procurement, scheduling, and cost/cash flow. Proficiency in a range of project management software and ERP systems (e.g., InEight, Aconex, Procore).
