Overview Database Reliability Engineer (Remote, AUS) – CrowdStrike is hiring an experienced engineer to join the Data Services team to advance our database systems. This role focuses on building and operating large-scale, cloud-based data platforms with a hands-on, technical approach. What You'll Do Maintain a deep understanding of data components — including Cassandra, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL and PostgreSQL — and use that understanding to operate and automate properly configured clusters. Operate databases in Kubernetes and manage container images. Develop infrastructure services to support a full DevOps model for CrowdStrike engineering teams. Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues, regardless of when they occur. Keep petabytes of critical business data safe, secure, and available.
