About The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity in the Clinical Oracle DBA team for a Oracle Database Administrator. Reporting to eHealth Clinical Oracle DBA Team Lead, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Oracle based database services with emphasis on business roadmap activities, customer satisfaction, process improvement and migration/transition project support. In This Role, You Will Administer, patch, and optimise Oracle Database platforms (including Oracle Engineered Systems) to ensure performance, availability, and recoverabilityDesign and implement secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise database solutions across on-prem and cloud (AWS) environmentsCollaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to onboard new services and deliver complex database solutionsPerform advanced diagnostics, root cause analysis, and proactive performance tuning to minimise unplanned outagesDevelop and maintain operational procedures aligned with NSW Health Change and Event Management frameworksProvide expert advice on emerging technologies, mentor team members, and support critical ICT projects across Oracle and AWS platforms About You We are looking for: Extensive experience managing and supporting Oracle Databases in large-scale, enterprise environmentsProficient in Oracle technologies including RMAN, RAC, Data Guard, OEM, Exadata, database cloning, and migration toolsPractical experience with Oracle RDS in AWS and hybrid infrastructure setupsStrong track record in delivering resilient, high availability, and disaster recovery database solutionsSelf-driven and reliable, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team setting Need more information?
