About the Role As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing strategic relationships with key public sector clients, including Fire and Rescue NSW and similar emergency services across Australia. You’ll act as the primary point of contact, deeply understanding client objectives and operational needs to ensure WWG delivers tailored, high-impact solutions. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach—working cross-functionally with internal teams to gather insights, manage risks, and develop comprehensive proposals that align with contractual obligations. You’ll oversee day-to-day account servicing, ensuring smooth delivery, issue resolution, and ongoing client satisfaction. Your ability to build trust, anticipate client needs, and translate them into actionable strategies will be critical to your success. What you’ll be doing Maintain strong relationships with key clients ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives and operational needs Develop and execute customer-centric growth plans, identifying opportunities for organic expansion and aligning with broader sales strategies Lead the preparation and delivery of weekly and monthly performance reports (internal and external), including KPI tracking, trend analysis, and actionable insights to support decision-making Monitor contractual obligations and proactively address any non-compliance issues, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated in a timely manner Collaborate with internal teams to manage product life cycles, forecast demand, and optimise stock levels to maximise profitability and reduce obsolete inventory Work closely with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to gather relevant information and build comprehensive client proposals Support the delivery of value-added initiatives that enhance client satisfaction and long-term engagement, aligned with strategic account goals Ensure all deliverables meet client-defined timeframes and internal performance benchmarks Who we’re looking for At our company, we value not only our great brands but also the people and teams that drive our success. What we’re looking for Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar account management role, with a strong focus on data analysis, reporting, and strategic planning Proven experience managing Tier 1 accounts, ideally within, or other complex stakeholder environments Industry experience or familiarity with uniform, apparel, or related sectors such as government, emergency services is highly desirable Strong analytical and reporting skills, with demonstrated ability to interpret data, monitor KPIs, and produce actionable insights that drive performance and compliance Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate client needs into internal strategies and deliverables What we offer The chance to join a great team of like-minded, hard-working people who are passionate about achieving our vision and the growth objectives of the company.
