About the role: As a Senior Cocktail Bartender – Mixologist , you will be responsible for preparing and serving world-class drinks with a focus on premium whisky and curated cocktail menus. You'll guide guests through unique tasting experiences, support new beverage creations, and ensure a high standard of bar service is maintained throughout each shift. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role that requires deep product knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for spirits and mixology. Duties and Responsibilities: Create and serve an extensive range of classic and contemporary cocktails with precision and flair Offer knowledgeable recommendations on our curated whisky selection, including tasting notes, regions, and pairings Guide guests through whisky flights and other spirit-forward experiences Maintain expert knowledge of bar ingredients, techniques, and drink trends Ensure consistency and quality across all beverages served Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked bar at all times Assist in the development of seasonal cocktail menus and signature serves Manage stock levels, inventory, and wastage with accuracy and care Adhere to RSA requirements and uphold a safe and responsible drinking environment Process transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems Support special events, promotions, and collaborative activations across the precinct Work closely with the team to uphold service standards and elevate the guest experience Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a cocktail-focused bar or premium hospitality venue Sound knowledge of whisky (Japanese, Scotch, and other global styles) and confidence in educating guests Strong cocktail-making skills, with an eye for detail and presentation Genuine interest in spirits, hospitality trends, and ongoing learning Energetic, approachable, and guest-focused personality Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong communication skills and professional demeanour Valid RSA certification (NSW) Join Our Team: If you are passionate about delivering a refined experience, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a dynamic and creative environment, we invite you to join our team.
