We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to join our Business Support team! What You Will Do: As an Administration Officer, you will provide cohesive and skilled administration support to Council units to ensure operational staff can deliver a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers. You will support a broad range of units such as Building Services, Plumbing and Trade Waste, Development, Planning and Property, and Community Grants. What We Are Looking For: Secondary education to at least Grade 10 and preferably Grade 12. Certificate III in Business (desirable). Demonstrated ability with appropriate computer software, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Demonstrated ability in the timely preparation and presentation of reports and correspondence. Ability to work in accordance with procedures and guidelines that apply to the unit. Sound analytical skills. Ability to adapt to change. Strong customer service focus, with an ability to relate well to other staff and to members of the public. Sound written and oral communication skills.
