The Role Reporting to the HR, the OHS Advisor will play a key role in supporting safety compliance and driving continuous improvement across a large-scale, complex manufacturing site. This is a hands-on position that will see you engaging with a diverse workforce, from engineers to frontline operators, to promote a strong safety culture and deliver meaningful outcomes. Responsibilities include: Conducting and supporting detailed risk assessments. Coordinating and implementing HSE initiatives across the business. Leading and assisting with incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively. Managing audits, inspections and reporting. Coordinating return-to-work and WorkCover processes, liaising with external providers where required. Supporting safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across site operations. Preparing clear documentation and reports, while streamlining manual processes where possible. Delivering training, toolbox talks, and safety communications that resonate with all levels of the workforce. Your Background You are a proactive and hands-on safety professional with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment. Comfortable engaging with people at all levels, you’re able to translate safety requirements into practical actions that build trust and drive cultural change. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and standards. Experience in risk assessment, inspections and incident investigation processes. Experience coordinating return-to-work and WorkCover programs. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage across a diverse workforce. Solid organisational and administrative ability, capable of managing detailed reporting and multiple priorities. Ability to interpret incident data, and implement solutions in response, as well as preventative action, proactive risk management and continuous improvement. What's on Offer?
