The Role: The positions involve using a belt splicer/Rubber liner within a team oriented production environment. Looking ideally for someone who has experience with conveyor belts as a splicer or any rubber lining experience, that has worked on conveyors from a mechanical perspective. You will be provided with comprehensive training and support, job stability and tailored to be a valued member of the team. Daily duties include Working in the splice department. Laith experience Working with conveyors from a mechanical perspective repetitive work operating the conveyor belts starting at 7:00am to 3:30pm If you have experience with conveyor belts, splicer experience or rubber lining experience. Then this is an opportunity you should not miss. Initially employed on a casual basis but has the view to become ongoing for outstanding candidates, with development opportunities and potential job security. Hours and Remuneration: $39 hour superannuation Shift Times : 7:00am - 3:00pm Required skills & attributes: o Must have 12 months experience in a manufacturing environment o Ideally have experience as a machine operator o An awareness of Safe Working Practices o Ability to work within a large team o Awareness of product quality assurance o Able to work unsupervised and follow instructions o Proven work history within a process environment o Drivers licence. o Motivated, hardworking and reliable o Able to use and operate machinery/hand tools. o Flexible, enthusiastic and ability to use initiative o Have a sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S o Have sound knowledge of Manual Handling Practices o Good communication and problem- solving skill o High focus on quality and productivity o Motivated, hardworking and reliable In return for your dedication and hard work, you will be provided ongoing stable employment that could lead to permanent employment Furthermore, you will join a family-oriented team, be part of an excellent work culture that rewards their staff with a pay rate well above industry standards.
