Brightscope HR is looking for Machine Operators to work either the AM or PM shift for our client based in Dandenong South! About the role: 1x day shift role available and 2x night shift roles available Shift Times - 4 days on 4 days off / (12 hour days) Day shift = Start 7am / Finish 7pm Night shift = Start 7pm / Finish 7am Casual role with perm potential further down the track Immediate start On-site car park Full training provided Great culture Duties include but not limited: Operating a variety of production machinery within the extrusion plant (including: Extrusion Machine, Tufting Machine, Winding Machine Twisting Machine, Autoclave, Knitting Machine, Rewinders, Auxiliary Machine & factory utilities) Flag any Thread/machine faults and aid in repair Maintain a clean and safe workplace Uphold company SOP’s and OH&S practices To be considered for this role: Minimum 1.5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Must have good attitude and desire to learn. Ability to work as a team. Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) High attention to detail. Capable of completing the physical demands of the role: Instances of prolonged standing, bending, lifting (up to 20kgs), kneeling, & good eye coordination. Must have your own car and licence.
