The Role We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Dandenong South, Victoria. In this full-time position, you'll be at the heart of our production process, operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality uPVC windows and doors. This role offers the chance to start with foundational tasks, gradually advancing to more complex operations as you grow within the company. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain various production machines to fabricate uPVC windows and doors. Perform precise cutting, drilling, trimming, and shaping of materials as required. Ensure machines are set up correctly and troubleshoot any issues to minimise downtime. Adhere to safety standards and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications before they move to final inspection. What We’re Looking For Technical Aptitude: You're comfortable with machinery and have a knack for understanding and operating complex equipment. (CNC machinery operation preferred) Attention to Detail: Precision is your priority, and you ensure every piece meets our exacting standards. Qualifications & Experience Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is preferred. Skills: Proficiency with power tools and machinery is essential. Familiarity with uPVC or aluminum window and door fabrication is an advantage. Education: High School qualification (Year 10) or equivalent is preferred; trade certification is a plus. Safety Awareness: A solid understanding of health and safety regulations within the manufacturing sector is required.
