About The Role The Production Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at our PGH Bricks site in Oxley, QLD. Reporting to the Manager you will be responsible for the operation and production of bricks, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices. In This Role You Will Prioritise Safety: Actively support and promote a safety-first culture. We aim for a zero-harm workplace where everyone looks out for each other - Never Walk Past principle.Daily Production Support: Help maintain and improve daily production targets, working together with your team to meet shared goals.Drive Continuous Improvement: Get involved in team-based improvement programs aimed at reducing costs, streamlining processes, and increasing efficiency.Preventative Maintenance: Participate in regular maintenance activities to help ensure smooth and safe operation of factory equipment.Performance & Collaboration: Manage your day-to-day tasks proactively, while working closely with your teammates to maximise productivity and support each other.Quality Assurance: Carry out routine checks to uphold our high standards in product quality and brick production targets.Keep It Clean & Organised: Maintain a clean and safe workspace that supports everyone's well-being.Innovation & Feedback: Share your ideas with the management team and contribute to ongoing plant improvement projects.Logistics Support: Perform forklift duties as part of our logistics operations What You Bring To The Role A strong commitment to workplace safety and wellbeing A team environment where everyone's voice matter.Attention to detail, especially when it comes to safety, quality, and process accuracy.Willingness to work a rotating roster.Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.Forklift licenseStrong understanding of production operations What Is On Offer We strive to support your professional and personal growth.
