About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to manage the accounting and service payment processes for a major $2B health infrastructure project delivered under a Public Private Partnership (PPP). This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial management of monthly service payment schedules, reconciliations, and stakeholder engagement. Initially focused on PPP financials, the position will later broaden to support wider financial accounting functions within the organisation. The Benefits $145,000 (incl super) additional salary packaging benefits ($15K) $2,500 meals & entertainment allowance 25 AL days 13 additional Accrued Days Off throughout the year 3 days in the office, 2 days from home Extensive internal progression prospects Key Responsibilities Manage monthly service payment schedules with project partners and other PPP stakeholders. Liaise with government departments and PPP partners to forecast and confirm payment schedules. Reconcile journals and accounting entries for service payments, maintenance costs, and modifications. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across finance, operations, and technical partners. Ensure compliance with PPP contractual terms and identify opportunities for cost recovery. Skills and Experience Strong technical financial accounting skills (CA/CPA) Prior PPP project experience highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage complex contractual financial arrangements. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail. Healthcare/Infrastructure sector experience is advantageous but not essential.
