Description A great career opportunity exists for a Credit Analyst to join our close knit Motor team. Your day will involve using your analytical skills to assess motor finance applications by gathering relevant information and getting a picture of the applicant, rather than relying purely on system generated results. You’ll also talk to external business partners and our sales team, taking time to build rapport and relationships with them and communicating your decision on the application and our credit guidelines. Skills And Experiences Do you have relevant experience in an Motor or Asset Finance assessment role with a broad understanding of lending products? Key Responsibilities Assess credit applications with accuracy and consistency, verifying employment, occupancy, and credit history. Ensure compliance with NCCP, Privacy Act, and other relevant legislation. Maintain clear and concise communication, including accurate diary notes. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Contribute to team meetings, ad hoc projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and report risk issues and support a culture of compliance and learning. Promote diversity, inclusion, and sustainability in daily work practices.
