About the job: In this role, you’ll design and implement supporting services, documentation, and training that embed best practice across Sustainable Infrastructure. You’ll ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards, review and improve critical documentation, and support training initiatives that enable teams to work more efficiently and effectively. Ultimately, your work will help drive operational excellence and ensure our infrastructure outcomes align with SA Water’s strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, processes, and documentation for the Asset Planning to Capital Delivery (Project) lifecycle, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and regulatory standards. Oversee the preparation and submission of key internal and external documentation and reports, financial approvals, and project/program submissions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Support critical and major projects progressing through internal and external governance and assurance. Conduct and manage audits, health checks, and quality reviews across asset management and capital delivery projects, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement. Serve as custodian of capital project and program procedures, maintaining up-to-date, accurate, and accessible documentation, templates, and data for decision-making and reporting. Design, deliver, and manage training programs and support for planners, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of processes, systems, and tools. Support and contribute to initiatives that enhance governance, assurance, and operational practices, leveraging industry insights, lessons learned, and collaborative problem-solving to drive ongoing improvement. About the Person The ideal candidate is a proactive and experienced governance and assurance professional with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks. You will have proven experience in developing and implementing governance processes, conducting audits, and delivering high-quality reporting. You are confident in training and influencing stakeholders at all levels, with excellent verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Additional requirements are: Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in project management, delivering outcomes on time and within scope. Experience facilitating workshops and delivering training to diverse stakeholders. Strong change management skills, with the ability to communicate with influence, build rapport, and support adoption of new or updated processes. Experience defining and implementing project and/or program governance processes. Experience in business case, grant or tender writing. Excellent analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate, and solve complex problems. Experience (desired) with South Australian Public Works Committee and Infrastructure SA.
