About the Role: An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Machine Operator to join a leading, Australian-owned food manufacturing company based in Villawood. We are seeking a reliable and skilled operator for an ongoing afternoon shift role that offers stability and the potential for a permanent position. This role offers an excellent pay rate of $41.73 per hour Super for the afternoon shift. Please note that comprehensive training will be provided on the morning shift (6 am - 2 pm) for the first few weeks at a training rate of $37.26 per hour Super. Key Responsibilities: Operating blow molding and other production line machinery safely and effectively. Conducting basic troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments to machines. Operating a counterbalance forklift (LF) to move pallets, and finished goods. Working collaboratively across different production lines to maintain a smooth workflow. Ensuring strict adherence to all quality, safety, and food handling standards. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience (2-3 years) as a Machine Operator in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential: Previous experience within the food, FMCG, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries. A current and valid counterbalance forklift licence (LF). A strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
