This hands-on role will support the day-to-day technical operations across our key programs: CARED, United for Care, and Vertika. As an intern, you'll gain valuable real-world experience in IT management, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support while contributing to meaningful initiatives. This position is ideal for students or early-career professionals looking to build their skills in a dynamic environment. Travel to various sites will be required, so a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day technical requirements, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of issues across CARED, United for Care, and Vertika. Handle licensing tasks, including procurement, renewals, compliance checks, and vendor coordination. Oversee telco (telecommunications) management, such as monitoring network connectivity, coordinating with service providers, and optimizing communication systems. Perform break/fix support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems on-site or remotely. Conduct site visits across Sydney, Wollongong, and the Central Coast to assess, maintain, and upgrade technical infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify tech needs and implement solutions that enhance efficiency. Document processes, issues, and resolutions to maintain accurate records and support knowledge sharing. Assist with ad-hoc projects related to IT security, system upgrades, or emerging tech requirements. Requirements: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (internship focus). Basic understanding of IT fundamentals, including hardware/software troubleshooting, networking, and telecommunications. Familiarity with licensing and compliance in a tech environment is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive "fix-it" mindset. Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work independently or in a team. Willingness to travel to sites across Sydney, Wollongong, and the Central Coast (mileage reimbursement provided). Availability for part-time hours (approximately 15-20 hours per week, flexible around studies). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic diagnostic tools; experience with telco systems or break/fix support is advantageous but not required.
