Job Title: VMware NSX Senior Consultant Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled VMware NSX Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for consulting and providing expert advice to clients on integrating and implementing the VMware NSX security platform within a hybrid cloud infrastructure. The consultant will provide expertise in all aspects of network technology security for a VMware virtualized environment. Key Responsibilities Provide security and network support for physical networking and firewall services. Ensure network reliability and availability through well-planned and implemented solutions. Deliver network and security infrastructures. Implement, develop, maintain, and support networks in NSX/NSX-T. Implement networking and VXLAN technologies. Monitor the automation of network deployment and configuration, along with the integration of infrastructure (compute/storage) automation. Configure and monitor network security layers. Monitor integration with other software-defined networking technologies. Improve network manageability and scalability. Support the operations and maintenance of the VMware virtual infrastructure. Maintain VMware vROps and reporting for confirmation, troubleshooting, and capacity planning. Use NSX, vRA, and vRO to automate and simplify tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in designing and implementing VMware NSX stretched networks across multi-data center environments. Expertise in hybrid cloud infrastructure, defining network configurations, and ensuring compliance with security and performance standards. Strong knowledge of network hypervisors and virtual networks. Ability to implement security measures through the use of security groups targeting multiple VMs. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong consulting, communication and collaboration skills. VMware VCAP VN, VN Preferred Skills Experience with VMware vROps, vRA, and vRO. Familiarity with automation tools and techniques. Knowledge of other software-defined networking technologies. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience Minimum of 8 years of experience in network technology security and VMware NSX.
