About the Role: As a Volunteer Admin Support with Short Back & Sidewalks, you'll play an essential role behind the scenes to help us deliver our free, judgement-free haircutting services to people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage. Your support will ensure our volunteer teams are well-coordinated, organised, and ready to create meaningful moments of connection through something as simple and powerful as a haircut. Key Duties: Assist with volunteer scheduling and shift coordination Respond to basic volunteer enquiries and support communications Maintain accurate records in our volunteer management system Help with onboarding new volunteers (e.g. sending info packs or updating files) Provide general admin support to the Volunteer Coordinator as needed Skills & Experience: Good organisational and time management skills Clear and friendly written and verbal communication Comfortable using email and basic digital tools (e.g. spreadsheets, forms) A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Previous admin or volunteer experience is helpful but not essential well support you to learn! We partner with community organisations and volunteer barbers/hairdressers in safe, supportive spaces where people can feel seen, respected, and uplifted.
